It was a day of inspiration in the sun working with Amy Purdy on this Editorial Photo Shoot for Muscle and Fitness Hers. Amy Purdy, a professional snowboarder, wakeboarder and survivor of a severe bacterial disease which affected her circulatory system resulting in a double amputation of her legs and a kidney transplant has let nothing slow her down. Seven months after receiving her leg prosthetics she began snowboarding again and competing less than a year after that. She is now a spokesperson for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and has gone on to co-found her own non-profit organization, Adaptive Action Sports.
