I had the joy of working with Beauty Bus this week. Beauty Bus is a non-profit organization that offers beauty and spa treatments to people with illness and impairments as well as their caretakers. So often the only touch a sick person gets is from their doctor or nurse. The Beauty Bus offers an opportunity for these people to feel pampered and maintain dignity. To escape for a moment in time. It also allows caretakers who rarely have time for themselves to be pampered and cared for too.
